Cool Moisture Humidifier #HumidifyMe

I'm definitely one of those people that actively says that humidifiers are a necessity, ESPECIALLY in bad weather. So when Influenster told me I was going to receive one for free to try out I was VERY excited to compare it to the one I had been using. Influenster sent me the Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier. I decided to use this one in the office and compare it to the usage of the one that I've been using at home. This way I also had input from others in the office on how they felt it made a difference. We first started actively using it because the building people kept forgetting to turn on the building heat and we were freezing... so we tested it's ability to moisture the office to levels that would make it feel warmer. This helped minimally, but people from outside our office always noticed the difference when coming in to discuss things with us. About 1 1/2 months ago the cold virus started making its rounds in the office staff. I believe it is currently on round 3 and some people were down for a couple days as it was an especially nasty attack. The people that worked in our office did not catch the cold at all! After the first round we thought it was just coincidence... but when it started going around again and again, we rejoiced in the fact we weren't getting sick! Prior to me getting the Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier, I had got deep congestion that was rattling me. Obviously the humidifier I have at home wasn't fully doing its job. Although it still took me a while to get rid of the congestion after starting to use the Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier, the difference was noticeable between when I was at home & when I was at work. I now tend to turn on the one in the office more than at home when the congestion starts to bother me! There have been times when we've been too busy in the office to remember to turn on the humidifier. Without a doubt, those days we notice that we're feeling a little "off" or that it feels colder in here than usual. Sometimes we don't even realize the correlation between how we feel and the humidifier until it comes to the end of the day. Then we regret not turning it on for the whole day. Me and my office LOVE using the Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier! It has made this winter so much more comfortable for all of us.

Sally Hansen Airbrush Perfect Legs

I've never used any leg "make-up" in the past, so when I was told I'd be receiving Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs cream I had NO IDEA what to expect. I've entertained the idea of trying something like it for a while as I have scars on my legs that make me self conscious when wearing skirts, dresses or shorts. When it came time to try out the cream, I found it's just as simple as the instructions say. Put a quarter size amount on your hands and rub in. Nothing special to it. The only thing you need to watch is that you make sure to blend in the edges. If you don't, they appear quite orange. A little bit of soap & water can fix that up easily. I used the cream on a trip to Knott's Berry Farm on a warm day. Here are the takeaways I got from that day: - You cannot feel the cream on your legs and quickly forget that it's even there - The cream does not rub off on your clothing - Although I was quite hot & sweaty, it did not "melt" - When going on water rides (resulting in me getting soaked) it did not come off All in all, I had a great experience with Sally Hansen Airbrush legs & would recommend it to anyone that wants to improve the look of their legs. One Pan Pasta

Barilla Pronto pasta is a no drain pasta. It comes in all different styles of pasta. I tried the Penne and Spaghetti pastas. Going into trying these, I had a lot of fears that it wouldn't stand up to my pasta standards... but I WANTED to like it because of its convenience factor. I actually let my 10 year old twin nieces make the pasta because they love to cook & create. Also, one of them burnt herself a few years ago while draining pasta and has since been afraid of cooking any kind of pasta. The first thing that stood out to them was how simple the instructions were. And the spaghetti noodles aren't as long as typical spaghetti noodles. They decided this was a great selling point because regular spaghetti is "too long". Aria was in charge of the spaghetti noodles & Lyette oversaw the penne. They started at the same time and put the time to 10 min's for the whole box. When it came to the time they are used to draining the pasta I said "ok, we're almost done!" and they asked where the strainer was. I reminded them "remember, we don't need to strain this pasta." They got so excited! Once the water was mostly gone, Aria went to creating her own spaghetti recipe using salsa as a "secret ingredient" while Lyette went for chicken & feta cheese. The process was so simple that they were surprised at how quickly they finished making their dishes. Next came the taste test. Not only did the 3 of us try it, so did other family members and friends. Everyone went back for seconds and thirds! When I explained that it was one step pasta and there was no need for draining, people were surprised. One person mentioned that the penne noodles (not the dish, the actual noodles) didn't taste as good as regular penne pasta, but that may have been due to not cooking the noodles long enough. All in all, the Barilla Pronto pastas are great for busy adults and children without sacrificing quality. I will definitely be using them in the future and recommending them to others. Jadore Dessange Oleo Miracle Hair Care

I've personally used multiple different hair products in the past for my insane mane. I've got naturally curly hair that I dye on a regular basis. It's more than common for my hair to be frizzy & dry. Not too long ago I got an e-mail from Influenster telling me that I'd be receiving a VoxBox with products from Dessange. I immediately started researching Dessange and wondering what products I'd be receiving. The excitement was building. So when I finally received it I was really excited about it. (Although, in the back of my head I was wondering "is this just another hair care product that isn't going to help...?") Let's start with the Oleo Miracle Shampoo. My first impression was that I loved the smell. It almost smells like suntan lotion. So it's got a very lively scent to it. I didn't have any immediate impression of the shampoo other than the scent. My first impression of the Oleo Miracle Conditioner was that I didn't need as much conditioner as I normally use of other brands. It didn't take as much to get all my hair & yet was still creamy. It was nice to not be using massive amounts of conditioner and hoping that I wouldn't run out before I ran out of shampoo. When I first used the Oleo Miracle Replenishing Oil, I was in shock! Not only did it tame my mane and smell good, it didn't make my hair greasy/oily! And my hands weren't super oily either! The first couple of days I knew I liked the Oleo Miracle line but wasn't quite sure just how much of an impact it was having on my hair, other than my nieces telling me that my hair looked better than before. One day I was telling a friend about the line and asked her if she could tell any difference. She went to examine my hair and as she touched it she said "oh my goodness! your hair is so soft!" I felt my hair and realized that I'd missed one key improvement. My hair didn't feel dry/damaged anymore! It feels healthy! The next day I asked another friend if he could tell the difference. He also felt my hair and immediately noticed the difference! Boots No 7 Leads to Lovely Skin

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense ADVANCED ##GetADVANCED - Because I only received a sample size of this instead of full size, my review on this product is very limited. I did love the way that my skin felt after using it. Quite silky & smooth and no breakouts due to my sensitive skin. I can't say how much of a difference it makes in the long run, but it really did make me want to go out and buy it and give it a chance to renew my skin. Rimmel Love

Loving my new Rimmel Products: Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner #Rimmel - I honestly haven't worn eyeliner in forever except for at fancy events. I used to use liquid eyeliner as I typically like the way it applies compared to a pencil. It took me a while to get the hang of sharpening this eyeliner. It arrived unsharpened but LOOKED like it was plastic casing, so I thought it was a twist to sharpen kind of thing. I couldn't figure it out, so I googled it. Apparently there's a lot of confusion within the general public on this. I eventually found that it does need a sharpener, so I used a sharpener. Because the eyeliner is so soft, it took a while before I was able to get a good point on it without it crumbling all over the place. BUT once I got it all sharpened and ready to go, it applied so smoothly and cleanly. I really love the look of it AND the feel. It was so easy to apply and it wasn't hard to get it to the thickness I like (not very thick) without feeling like I was actually using a pencil on my eyelid. It was wonderful! I will definitely be using this eyeliner for all the times I feel like fancying up my eyes. :-) Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover #Rimmel - After wearing my Rimmel Eyeliner, I was able to try this eye makeup remover and feel "brand loyal". haha I have pretty sensitive skin and so I initially used this on my hand (remember, I crumbled eyeliner all over my hand while learning to sharpen it) to see if it felt harsh or if my skin had any negative response to it. It cleaned up my messy hand quite easily and was not harsh at all. It almost felt like I was just using water. So I went to town on my eyes. Oddly enough, it didn't clean up my face as easily as it did my hand. I did have to exert some pressure to get the eyeliner off, but not an uncomfortable amount of pressure. Also, my skin didn't react at all. It was lovely! It really was like using water to clean up. Yet with a deeper clean to get all that eye makeup off. LOVE IT! NYC New York Color Expert Last Lip Color #SugarPlum - I'm actually one of the most picky people when it comes to lipstick. Not just the color but the way it feels. So although I loved how it looked before putting it on, I was worried that I'd hate the texture. I certainly had NOTHING to worry about. Besides the fact that I love the way the color looks on me, I actually did not feel like I was wearing anything on my lips at all. It was perfect. I don't feel that it stayed on that long, but since I couldn't feel it I can't really say for sure. All I know is I LOVE the color and it felt great. EcoTools Full Volume Styler Hairbrush #LoveMyExoHairBrush - As a curly haired girl, hairbrushes make a world of difference. When I received this and found it was a round brush I immediately started having anxiety over trying to brush my hair with it. But I wasn't going to let anything stop me from trying it out, so I just reminded myself multiple times that I would give it a fair chance and try it on WET hair only. Leading up to the first use, I was nervous yet excited. Then I started using it on my hair and immediately thought "oh wow! it's not knotting!" It went through my hair easily and without knotting. And bonus points for drying my hair faster than with a regular brush! I don't normally blow dry my hair, so I didn't while testing this hairbrush out. And yet my hair still dried quite quickly. After brushing my hair out and feeling satisfied with how it worked, I started the waiting game on countdown to frizz. Full Volume = Frizz in the world of my hair. I couldn't have been more surprised when hours later my hair still looked good without the frizz. Definitely a great brush at a reasonable price. Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea #CelestialTea - Mint tea has always been my "go to" tea whenever I need some kind of comforting in my body (upset stomach, headache, etc). I don't normally buy tea bags but rather stop by Starbucks and get their tea, even though I Feel it's a bit strong. So I tried Candy Cane Lane on one of those needing comfort occasions. It smelled wonderful, just like a Christmas treat. :-) Then I took my first sip & immediately fell in love. Such a light but distinct flavor with all the comfort of a mint tea. McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme #McCormickCourmet - This one was a fun one for me. At first I Was planning on making a meal with it. But then I got the fun idea of making a drink with it. I googled tons of recipes for drinks that used thyme in it. Almost all of them used fresh thyme instead of ground/dried thyme. I took this as a challenge. Thankfully, I found a "thyme syrup" recipe on McCormick's site. For New Year's Eve I was at my best friend's house with her whole family, so I decided to take this opportunity to try out the thyme syrup. I handed the syrup to her husband (the mixed drink master) and said "make something with this". He made a couple of drinks from his regular arsenal of mixes and added the syrup. Everyone LOVED the drinks with the syrup in it. Our favorites were the Thyme Collins and the Caipirinha. It added a freshness and slight minty flavor to all the drinks. A few days later my friend texted me saying "I'm addicted to the thyme syrup!" This was definitely a win for all of us. We've decided that even though it's ground/dried thyme, it still wins and can pass as fresh if used properly. Fruit Vines Cherry Bites #SweetSide - I tried so hard to be good and ration these out to their proper serving size... But they were so good that I inhaled them all with no regard to calorie count! hahaha I'm afraid to buy these because I don't know how much self control I have.

Celestial Seasonings Taste Test

I received the Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Decaf Green Tea in my #FrostyVoxBox from Influenster. I was excited to try this as I'm a big mint tea lover. Mint is a great tea to use to calm the nerves as well as the stomach. It's a miracle remedy! :-) Typically I go to Starbucks and get myself a mint tea there when I need my mint tea fix. Their tea has great flavor but is actually TOO strong often times. And if I leave the tea bag in for too long (which I'm notorious for), it begins to taste bitter. I did not have this issue AT ALL with the Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Green Tea. First off, the initial flavor after steeping it was a much softer mint flavor yet is still somehow bold. So you get all the benefits of the mint calming without it being overwhelming and affecting the flavor of anything you eat for the next 1/2 hour. After my initial taste... I accidentally left my tea bag in the cup for at LEAST a good half an hour or so. When I came back to the cup I expected it to be incredibly strong and slightly bitter. Boy was a surprised when it was just slightly more minty. It was wonderful. I wish that this was a year round tea flavor instead of seasonal! This would be great to have any time of year! Cheese Platter

I was given a sample of Boursin Cheese from Smiley360 to try in exchange for my honest opinion. I thought this was the perfect excuse to have a cheese platter at a staff meeting I was to hold. I was so excited as I am a cheese LOVER. I went all out and bought several different cheeses, crackers, meats, olives, spreads, etc. When everyone saw that we were having a cheese platter they were so excited (I don't blame them. Cheese is the best!). I did enjoy the Boursin Cheese Creamy Asiago and Roasted Red Pepper. It has a good herbal and even flavor and is spreadable. It was great as a snack. It could be paired with several different kinds of crackers. It also paired well with meats. Although, I believe that it was overshadowed by the other cheeses provided as typically people think of spreadable cheese as a "lesser" cheese. I think the Boursin Cheeses are great for a snack with your favorite cracker. Like I said, they've got a great flavor and are spreadable. It's like having a better version of cream cheese.
